Prof. Barry Duell Retirement, 2013

On April 5th, 2013, a celebration was held in honor of Professor, Barry Duell, who retired from TIU in Kawagoe.   Prof. Duell has devoted many years to the fostering of cultural, academic and personal exchanges between Salem and Kawagoe citizens.  He has acted as a translator at numerous offical Sister City meetings and events over his long TIU career.  He is also the president of the long-established Kawagoe-Salem Friendship Society in Kawagoe.
